Paula Rueda, new president of HDF
HDF announced the appointment of Paula Rueda as its new president on March 20 in Madrid. Rueda joined Erfri, a family-owned company and partner of HDF founded by her father, Eulogio Rueda, 12 years ago.
From the outset, he has played a very close role in the company’s management, taking part in its strategy and direction, working alongside Eulogio Rueda in the generational transition at Erfri until becoming its general manager.
In her new role as president of HDF, Rueda will work alongside HDF’s general management and the board of directors to drive and evolve the purchasing center, as well as develop the company’s own brand strategy.
“I approach this new phase as a personal challenge to add to my professional career, with the enthusiasm and desire to continue contributing to and consolidating the HDF group and trying to convey to its partners and associates the importance of the commitment we make by being part of HDF,” the new president states.
HDF states: “We know that Paula will bring her experience, dynamism, and knowledge of our sector. This also represents a new step in consolidating the generational change within the group.”
Paula Rueda takes over from Joan Mayoral, manager of Comfred Suministros, who has held the position for the past seven years. “At HDF, we would like to thank Joan Mayoral for the great work he has done as group president in recent years, and he will continue to actively serve on HDF’s board of directors.”
HDF also reports that there has been a change in the secretariat, with Gabriel Aguado Jr., manager of Levantia, taking over from David González, manager of Amafri, who has held the position for the past seven years.
